Secondary Antibodies

BioVision currently offers a large number of secondary antibodies that can be used to detect, purify, or sort target antigens.

Secondary antibodies indirectly detect antigens by binding to the constant region (Fc) of the primary antibodies, which in turn is bound to the antigen of interest. The secondary antibodies generated must be specific for species as well as to the isotype of the primary antibody. Secondary antibodies are available either in unconjugated form or conjugated to fluorescent (Alexa-Fluor, FITC) or enzyme (HRP, AP) molecules. Due to the critical role of secondary antibodies in biochemistry research applications, BioVision proudly offers a wide variety of secondary antibodies to aid customer’s in their research projects. These highly robust, highly specific antibodies are raised in many species such as goat, mouse, rat, donkey, and have been validated in Western blotting, FACS, immunoprecipitation, immunohistochemistry etc.
