Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) is a reactive oxygen species and by-product of oxygen metabolism. H2O2 serves as a key regulator for a number of oxidative stress related pathways and is linked to asthma, inflammatory arthritis, atherosclerosis, diabetic vasculopathy, osteoporosis, and a number of neurodegenerative diseases. BioVision’s Intracellular Hydrogen Peroxide Detection kit uses a dye that reacts with intracellular hydrogen peroxide to produce an orange color and fluorescence, which is proportional to the concentration of intracellular hydrogen peroxide. This kit provides a simple, easy to perform, histochemical method for identification of intracellular H2O2 in the samples.

The manual suggests an incubation time of "24 hrs or desired time period". Is there a minimum time periode? Or is it depending on the amount of H2O2?
The incubation time period will depend largely upon the concentration of H2O2 in your samples as well as your cell type
After staining and washing the cells for analysis, is it possible to transport the cells in a dark box to another building to do the analysis, or does "the Dye bleaches very rapidly" mean that immediate photodocumentation is indispensable?
The dye is very prone to photobleaching, so we would recommend analysis as fast as possible. However, you can try wrapping up the plates in aluminium foil immediately after washing and then put it in a dark box during transportation. It can help minimizing the bleaching process.
Can we use frozen samples with this assay?
This kit can only work on freshly prepared samples.
Can the kit work on bacteria or yeast cells?
The kit has been standardized for mammalian cells only
