Designed to detect ADP/ATP ratios for a rapid screening of apoptosis/necrosis/growth arrest/cell proliferation simultaneously in mammalian cells. Offers highly consistent results and with excellent correlation to other apoptosis markers (e.g. TUNEL-based assays and caspase assays). Assay can be fully automatic for high throughput (10 seconds/sample) and is highly sensitive (detects 10-100 cells/well).
Utilizes bioluminescent detection of the ATP level via luciferase catalyzed reaction for a rapid screening of apoptosis and cell viability in mammalian cells. The assay can be done directly in culture plates requiring no harvest/washing/or sample preparations and can be fully automatic for high throughput (10 seconds/sample) and is highly sensitive (detects 10-100 mammalian cells/well).
Provides ready-to-use staining reagents and incubation buffer for distinguishing between live and dead cells in culture. Contains a cell-permeable green fluorescent dye (Ex/Em = 490/515 nm) for staining live cells and propidium iodide (PI Ex/Em = 488/615 nm) for staining dead cells. Stained lice and dead cells can easily be visualized by fluorescence microscopy.
This fast and sensitive assay measures cell proliferation in response to growth factors/cytokines/mitogens/and nutrients etc. The method is so simple requiring no washing/harvesting/or solubilization steps and is faster and more sensitive than MTT/XTT/or MTS-based assays. The entire assay can be performed directly in a 96-well plate.
