The tissue grinder is used for homogenizing delicate tissues (such as intestines, liver, and heart) and cells. Designed for hand operation. Hollow handle permits packing with ice. Grinder also feature an expanded reservoir and pouring lip. Interchangeable pestles and tubes are made of low extractable borosilicate glass. Clearance between pestle and grinding chamber is 0.09-0.16 mm (0.0035-0.0065”). Glass meets ASTM Type 1 Class A and USP Type 1 standards. (Compatible with BioVision’s Cell Fractionation kits.)
