The Annexin V-PE-Cy5 Apoptosis Detection Kit utilizes the double fluorescent dyes conjugated to Annexin V. The two dye conjugate allows the activation to occur at the PE channel, (Ex=488nm), but to emit at the Cy5 channel (Em=670nm), which shows blue-red fluorescence. Results can be analyzed by flow cytometry or fluorescence microscopy.
