The Annexin V-EGF P Apoptosis Detection Kit utilizes the enhanced green fluorescence protein (EGF P) fused with Annexin V. EGFP is brighter and more photo-stable than other fluorescent reagents. Detection can be analyzed by flow cytometry or by fluorescence microscopy with a FITC filter (Ex=488nm; Em=530nm). The kit also contains propidium iodide (PI) for detecting necrotic cells.
